I made this series of images to show that people have a lot of insecurities and pain, and a lot of that is caused by society and the major expectations it puts on people to be perfect when that is just not physically possible. I wanted to show people the effect their words and actions have on people, although they are not physical effects. The images are close up images of people as if you’re looking into their mind/soul and seeing what they really think of themselves or what society has done to them and how they have changed because of it all. I made this as it has a close place in my heart as in the past I have had this same problem but from it I have grown and I like the way I am now.
